AI Is Rewriting the Rules of Who Gets to Build
For years, only people who knew how to code could create world-changing apps. Think WhatsApp’s Jan Koum, Uber’s Travis and Garrett, or Canva’s Melanie Perkins — they either wrote the code or struggled to find those who could.
If you had a great idea but couldn’t code? Too bad. That world is now gone.
You Don’t Need to Code Anymore — Just Think Clearly
Thanks to new AI tools, anyone can now build software. Models like GPT-5.3 Codex (from OpenAI) and Claude CoWorker / Opus 4.6 (from Anthropic) are like having a super-smart developer next to you.
You tell them what you want. They write the code, debug it, test it, and even deploy it.
It’s like being an architect — you design the vision, and the AI builds it for you.
What Makes These AIs Special?
- GPT-5.3 Codex can handle real-world tasks: debugging, writing docs, running terminal commands, and more — all with 25% faster speed.
- Claude Opus 4.6 is calm, clear, and great for planning large projects or software systems.
- Both models can interact like coworkers — pause mid-task, give feedback, and adjust on the fly.
These models don’t ask “Do you know Java?” They ask “What would you like to build?”
Coming Soon to Tools You Already Use
GPT-5.3 Codex will soon be available inside:
- VS Code
- Cursor
- GitHub Copilot
Whether you're a beginner, solo founder, or student — your AI partner will be right inside your favorite software tools.
You Are Now the Architect
The most powerful skill today isn’t knowing code — it’s knowing what you want and explaining it well.
You don’t need to beg a technical cofounder anymore. If you’ve got an idea, now is the time. The world’s smartest developer tools are listening — and they speak your language.

The $285 Billion AI Shock That Wall Street Didn't See Coming
Anthropic quietly released new plugins for its Claude Cowork tool in early February 2026, and the market went into freefall. Within days, the selloff wiped out $285 billion across software, financial services, and asset management stocks. Source: Bloomberg
What Sparked the Panic
The Claude Cowork plugins automate tasks that real people do every day—reviewing legal contracts, managing sales workflows, analyzing financial data, and handling marketing. These weren’t just theoretical features. They worked, and investors immediately understood what that meant for companies selling these exact services. Source: The Guardian
The Damage Was Brutal
- Thomson Reuters plummeted 18% on February 3—its worst day ever. Prompt Current
- LegalZoom crashed nearly 20%. Prompt Current
- Salesforce dropped 7% — its steepest decline since May 2024. Tikr
- Microsoft was also hit as the panic spread. Tikr
- Infosys fell 7%, TCS dropped 6%. Prompt Current
- Goldman Sachs’ software index saw its worst day since April’s tariff selloff. Reddit
European firms also tumbled: Pearson -8%, Relx -14%, London Stock Exchange Group -13%, Experian -7%. Even asset managers like KKR, Ares, and TPG fell over 10%, while Apollo and Blackstone each lost 8%. The Guardian
Why This Matters More Than You Think
This selloff is critical because it happened at the very start of 2026. Investors trade on future expectations — and a crash in February signals they believe disruption is coming faster than anyone thought. Times of India
Stephen Yiu of Blue Whale Growth Fund said it plainly: “This year is the defining year whether companies are AI winners or victims.”
Morgan Stanley called it a sign of "intensifying competition" that could completely remove traditional data providers from the picture. The Guardian
If AI can do this in February — what will happen by year’s end? And why wasn’t this front-page news when nearly $300 billion disappeared after a “routine product update”? Prompt Current
Claude Code hit $1 billion in annual revenue just months after launching in May 2025. Now, Anthropic is raising $20 billion at a $350 billion valuation — up from $61.5 billion just last March. Times of India
