🔍 New Gemini Tool Checks If a Video Was Made with AI
Google is adding a way to check whether a video was made or edited using its AI tools — right inside the Gemini app.
Just upload a short video (under 100 MB and 90 seconds) and ask, “Was this generated using Google AI?” Gemini will scan the sound and visuals for its hidden SynthID watermark and show which parts were AI-made.
This tool works in all countries and languages supported by the Gemini app — and now supports both images and videos. It’s part of Google’s push for more transparency in AI content.
